  • How is Works

    Our Private and Semi-Private Lessons are sold as a membership, which allows you to have the same instructor on the same day and time each week. You will receive expert guidance through coaching and instruction as your Swim Instructor works with you to build your own customized swim lesson program. In attending your weekly lesson, you will be given the opportunity to work on your skills consistently with our YMCA Swim Instructor and or Coaches.

    Policies:

    • Subscription:            The account for this program will be charged on the first business day of each month. If a full month is not provided, a pro-rated amount will be charged at the start and end of the subscription period.

    • Credit Card:              The account will have an active credit card on file to allow for monthly recurring charges.

    • Monthly Subscription: In the Private/Semi-Private Lessons Membership Subscription, the day and time will be provided on a weekly basis. If electing to sign up for additional days, a new membership will be required to be added.

    • Make-Up:The program does not allow for any make-up for the classes missed by the participant. (e.g., religious, medical)

      Private/Semi-Private Membership – In the event the pool is closed unexpectedly or the instructor cancels a lesson, the participant's monthly aquatics membership subscription will be prorated for the next month. (Swim Team Membership – Not Applicable)

    • Cancellation prior to Subscription Start:    If a participant requests to cancel before the start of the monthly membership subscription, there will be a 50% cancellation fee.

    • Cancellation:    The participant must give the Aquatics Department 30 days’ written notice via Link (https://www.jotform.com/form/241352756432051).

  • The Cost of Lessons

    Private Lessons are sold as a Subscription Model, which is billed on the first of every month. Please note there is a 30 day notice reqired to to cancel out of the private lessons subscription model. 

    Private Swimming Lessons:

    • Facility Members: $255.00 per month
    • Community Participants: $305.00 per month

    Semi-Private Swimming Lessons:

    • Facility Members: $225.00/person per month
    • Community Participants: $270.00/person per month
